Today, MWT Materials announces its registration as an FDA Registered manufacturer  of  medical devices, along
 with the introduction of Accusorb MRI  Shielding  Blankets.

Device offers more than -80 dB isolation in transmission from below 50 MHz to  over 100  GHz and -15 dB in
absorption from 1 to 18 GHz.  Resultant suppression of  artifact  images (including high return prosthetic devices
 and ancillary implants) allows  for enhanced resolution with reduced RF exposure to patient and improved
diagnostic  capabilities. 

Use of advanced RF absorbers and thermal barriers prevent  heating of the blanket and patient due to RF energy,
 eliminating resonant cavity  effect and enhanced patient safety

Careful use of nonmagnetic components ensures safe  usage in  high field MR devices.  FDA Medical Class 1
Device is lead free and offers no protection from  X-rays
